It is our endeavour to make education a purposeful, meaningful and enjoyable experience. The school follows Samacheer kalvi syllabus with Tamil as a compulsory second language from class LKG to X. The second language for Senior Secondary level is optional. Hindi is being taught as a third language till class IX. In this competitive world, we believe firmly that it is school’s prime duty to foster in its community a life-long love for learning and a sense of responsibility as a Nation builder. Our innovative educational programmes are designed to develop the understanding skills and attitudes of the students. Every TJVian receives individual and personal attention and the maximum comfort possible.

We are imparting value based education through our schools Terapanth Jain Vidyalaya at Sowcarpet and Pattalam in Chennai. Our mission is to transform a toddler into an educationally sound, ethically upright, morally strong and physically fit personality is evident from our illustrious alumni about 3500 bright young students currently in our school. We are proud of our dedicated, devoted and dutiful teaching and non-teaching staff. Terapanth Educational & Medical Trust also caters to the medical needs of the society through regular medical camps. Mobile dispensary was launched in the year 2008 and till now lakhs of people have been benefitted. We are proud to state that we have our own clinic at Pattalam to treat our pupils and public as well.
We are planning our next project – An International Residential School at Kuthambakkam near Poonamallee. The Trust is planning to extend its wings in International Residential School & Collegiate Education on this land. The development work has been entrusted to Shri Meghraj Lunawat and Shri Nirmal kumar Gadiya. The work is in progress and they have already obtained permission to construct an over bridge from highway to our land. The Trust is confident to start the project in the near future.
Scholarship
Terapanth Educational & Medical Trust was formed to serve the students and society. Our management aims to provide the quality education to the underprivileged children. “Distribution of scholarship – financial aid for students” function was held on 13 th July 2015 in Sowcarpet school premises. Our Chief Guest of the day was Shri Pannalalji Singhvi – President, Jain Maha Sangh distributed the Scholarships worth Rs. 40 lakhs to 800 needy and deserving students belonging to 41 different schools and 15 colleges. The service of Shri Rajendra Kumarji Anchaliya, convener of scholarship committee and his team, are commendable.
The management firmly believes that each student who passes out of the school will be proud of being shaped into a worthy citizen in tune with the school’s motto “Virtue is Knowledge”. In near future, the Management has plans to open a few more schools in Chennai.
