On August 17, 2024 Jnana Prabodhini conducted the Chhote Scientist workshop at Agarwal Vidyalaya Junior College, Vepery. The event led by Mr. Amar Paranjpe, Mr. Prasanth Divekar, and Mr. Siddarth, began at 1:30 pm and saw participation from over ten schools.Representatives from our Science Department, K. Bhuvaneswari and J. Shanmugapriya, attended the workshop, which focused on "Nurturing Chhote Scientists by Fostering Inquiry." The workshop emphasized innovative teaching methodologies centered on Observation, Exploration, and Investigation. Demonstrations included activities on air pressure, water pressure, sound changes, and drawing.

Conclusion:

The resource persons plan to hold six such workshops annually. They stressed the importance of encouraging students to ask questions and explore learning independently. Let’s continue to guide our students in discovering how to learn, not just what to learn.
