GOLDEN RULES FOR STUDENTS

  • Always be punctual, obedient and disciplined.
  • Be attentive in class.
  • Time is precious. Do not waste time, have fixed hours for study, play, relaxation, sleep and for taking food.
  • Never be idle. Idleness is the root cause of all evils. Enjoy your leisure time.
  • Do all your Homework and complete your study of daily lessons.
  • Eat healthy and hygienic food.
  • Bring your school diary every day without fail.
  • Note down your homework & other school activities in the diary.
  • The teacher’s remarks should be shown to your parents and duly signed by them.

GUIDELINES TO STUDENTS

The school aims at helping students grow in an atmosphere of joy. It is required that all the activities of the school are approached with a sense of order and responsibility to oneself and others at school. With this in mind students are expected to follow the guidelines given.

  • Students should attend school regularly and punctually in perfect uniform. ID Card/Tie/ribbon should be worn before entering the campus. 100/- will be charged for duplicate I.D. Card (if lost).
  • The school gates will be closed at 8.30 a.m. No late comers will be allowed to enter the school. The school will not shoulder the responsibility of the late comers. Therefore it is the duty of the parents to see that their children reach school on time.
  • No student should absent himself/herself from school without obtaining prior permission. If leave exceeds 3 days for X-XII, parents should report to Principal, otherwise students will not be permitted. Sick leave should be supported by a medical certificate. Students with inadequate attendance will not be eligible for promotion. Students must be present on the opening and closing day of each term.
  • It is also notified that No Half Day will be permitted. Students are often taken home on the pretext of an appointment with the doctor or social commitment which should be avoided. Frequent absence from school and late coming will be deemed as misconduct.
  • Open House Meets are arranged after every Mid Term / Terminal Examinations. In order to apprise themselves of the Children's academic progress in school, parents should meet the teachers on the Open Day and avail their advice. No other family members can be deputed by the parents during such meet.
  • Silence should be maintained while moving from one class to another and for morning assembly.
  • Students should greet the teacher or visitor with folded palms when they enter their classroom or see them anywhere in the campus.
  • Students should not enter or leave the classroom without the permission of the teacher.
  • Littering the classroom, damaging the furniture or loitering anywhere in the school premises are prohibited.
  • Students are prohibited from abusing and bullying each other.
  • No student shall indulge in anti-social and subversive activities.
  • Possession of any sort of comics, objectionable literature and electronic devices, camera/cell phone etc., will lead to strict action. Student contravening these rules are liable to be suspended or dismissed at the discretion of the Principal, after obtaining approval from the management.
  • Any student found to be indifferent or careless in his/her work or whose conduct is considered to be detrimental at any time may be suspended or dismissed from the school.
  • Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disrespect towards teachers, neglect of homework and malpractice in examination justify dismissal.
  • No pupil suffering from contagious or infectious disease shall be allowed to attend the school.
  • Every pupil must take part in yoga, games and other activities unless declared physically unfit or exempted by the Principal.
  • Non-vegetarian food including egg is strictly prohibited in the school campus.
  • No pupil is allowed to go out of the school even during lunch hour unless he/she has an out-pass, (during lunch break) issued only on special consideration.
  • Change of address of the Pupil and mobile number of parents, if any, should be intimated to the school office immediately. Changes in the Hand Book to be made only by the parent and not by children.
  • Students who fail to abide by the above mentioned rules will face disciplinary action.

LIBRARY RULES

  • Students of Std V - XII are permitted to borrow one book at a time.
  • The books must be returned within the due date failing which the borrower shall have to pay a fine of 1 per day. They can be renewed with a break of a week.
  • Strict silence must be maintained in the library cum reading room.
  • In case of damage to a book, the borrower shall have to pay its full cost.
  • Reference books should not be taken out of the library.
  • Transfer of books without proper entry in the register is not permitted. The student in whose name a book is issued shall be held responsible for its return.
