KINDER GARTEN

A Child – Centered Approach

In the initial years, the child’s brain undergoes major development at a rapid pace. Intending to incorporate maximum learning at this stage, we have constructed a unique curriculum for our pre-primary and primary school that is “Early Years Program” (EYP) to recognize and honour the early childhood period as pivotal in building a foundation for the educational life of our students. Education in the pre-primary is imparted by teachers who are trained in the KG & Montessori Courses.

The students are provided with scientifically designed teaching aids and equipments for learning. Each alphabet is introduced to the students as a story through visual and audio aids. Similarly, Numeracy is taught with hands-on learning approach.Our focus is to bring out the nascent talents within the young minds and provide them the best platform for empowering students with 360° development. Enhancing confidence with special activities such as public speaking, drawing, music, dance etc. are the part of the curriculum. The vibrant learning environment for the EYP children is a mixture of several methodologies such as Montessori and Play-way theory.

To Provide a well-rounded program that values the key learning areas:

PRIMARY CURRICULUM

Cultivating an environment integral to Academic Stimulation

The Primary school programme encourages children to become independent learners. To meet the needs of the fast paced and ever-changing world that our students will enter, we want our children to have a strong set of problem-solving strategies, the ability to think critically, and the knowledge and skills to apply themselves to the new and unfamiliar tasks.

In recognition of the importance of traditional subject areas, the application of knowledge, concepts and skills that apply to language, mathematics, science, social science, physical education and art & craft are all taught through the framework of the “PYP -Primary Years Program”. Emphasis is on the conceptual understanding of core subjects.

Assessment is an integral part of the PYP programme as it provides feedback on the learning process which in turn helps direct the teaching by providing information to enable more effective differentiation. Overall evaluation is consolidated on the basis of performance in Formative Assessment and Summative Assessment tests conducted at regular intervals throughout the Academic year.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Middle School life belongs to a bustling, vibrant community of students who are ready to face more academic challenges and do an in-depth study in all subjects.In the Middle School children are made to focus upon honing the skills that will be required for future success.Children developing adolescent brain deserve a special approach.In the Middle School, children are at a unique stage : discovering independence but needing support.

High School

Creating Responsible & Motivated Learners

  • The subjects taught to Std IX students are Tamil / Hindi / English / Mathematics / General Science / Social Science/P.E.T
  • And Std X students learn Tamil / English / Mathematics / General Science / Social Science/P.E.T Std. IX & X is a preparatory ground for students to face their first State Board Examination.

These two years students are given maximum attention and constant guidance from their teachers as we expect high standards both in studies and behavior. Further more our innovative curriculum provides a wide range of opportunities to enrich the educational experience of each student beyond the classroom atmosphere.

Higher Secondary

Std. XI and XII are integrated classes. The students are prepared for the public Examination by experienced , qualified and competent Post-Graduate teachers. Special attention is paid to each student. Emphasis is laid on library and laboratory work. Intensive Coaching Classes and Special Remedial Classes are organized for the slow learners to give them a boost for a span of 1 hour every working day in all the subjects as a part of the LEARNING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME. It has been designed to help the students especially in cases of special need.
