15 August 2023 ornamented the air of Terapanth Jain Vidyalaya, Sowcarpet Campus, pure and clear. The atmosphere wore fragrant garlands and the campus was echoing with patriotic slogans Bharath Vande Mataram, Satyameva Jayate and Jai Hind. The sweet soil resurrected the values and sacrifices of our sung and unsung heroes .
Our chief guest Shri. Venkatesen, FCA, Secretary of Vivekanadha Educational Society hoisted the flag to a shower of rose Petals symbolizing the joy and discovery of a value based freedom. Our Chairman Shri Goutam Chand Bohara presided over the Festivity. The Esteemed Members Managing Trustee, General Secretary, Correspondent Sowcarpet and Pattallam, School Committee Convener Sowcarpet & Pattallam graced the occasion. Ms. Sasikala, Principal welcomed the august gathering.
It was indeed a memorable day for all the students of class XII & X. The centum achievers were rewarded and the Best Teacher Award and the teachers with 100% attendance were appreciated and accoladed by the management.
The formal ceremonies progressed to a concise and crisp cultural programme, highlighting and recalling the significance of India’s long and arduous road to freedom.
India’s Independence was colourfully celebrated by students of TJV, in a mime translating a visual expression of our militia. A mash up dance and a fusion dance expressed the vibrant multicultural nation.
The 77th Independence day was celebrated by TJVians in a truly memorable way.
Commemorating Former Prime Minister Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi's Birth Anniversary, the 'Sadbhavana Diwas' pledge was taken by the staff on 18th August, 2023 at 11 a.m. to promote National Integration and Communal Harmony.
